We designed a sleek, modern website for Shapard Research, the leading market research firm in Oklahoma.
Problem
Shapard Research is an OKC-based market research firm, having worked with some of the most recognizable brands in the nation, like Sonic, Devon, Cox, and Post Foods.
Shapard's initial website was developed on WordPress in the early 2010's. Unfortunately, it had been neglected ever since, leading to an outdated design, slow load time, and worst of all: an unsecured database.
After being hacked multiple times, they knew it was time to build a new site. We had a series of conversations with Shapard Research to determine exactly what the end result should look like.
Having worked with Carbon Creative once before, Bill Shapard, the CEO of Shapard Research, decided to hire us again for this project. We got to work immediately.
Solution
After that, we started wireframing, prototyping, and finally building the new site.
Using blog posts and copy from the previous site (with slight modifications) allowed us to build even faster than normal.
Ultimately, we were able to complete this project extremely smoothly, as the client was willing to let us take the lead and relied heavily on our expertise, which was a great motivator and allowed us to build a better final product.
Result
After launching, we saw an uptick in user engagement and time spent on the site due mostly to the enhanced user experience, navigation, and more modern, streamlined design.
